Verify Your Visa Before You Travel

🚨 Received your visa from an agent?

Before booking your flight or paying any remaining balance, verify your visa through the official immigration system where possible.

A professional-looking visa document does not prove that a government actually issued it.

Never let an agent be the only person capable of proving that your visa is real.

Warning signs include:

• the agent refuses to provide an application or reference number;
• the agent refuses to let the traveller access their own immigration account;
• the agent says the traveller cannot verify the visa themselves;
• only a screenshot or PDF is provided;
• the agent asks for more money to “activate” or “release” a visa;
• the agent discourages contacting the immigration authority;
• the visa details do not match the passport;
• the agent pressures the traveller to travel immediately.
